Clinical vs Organic skincare products: what would you choose?
There are many brands that swear by the value of organic or natural skincare products for our skin. On the contrary, some brands say that clinical skincare products are better, but the question is that should they even be compared?
Often people have the perception that organic products are better than clinical since organic ingredients are made using natural ingredients while clinical skincare are lab made with medical ingredients. When we hear the word clinical or synthetic the first thing that comes to our mind is “toxin” or “chemical”. We all should understand that there are no skincare products which are 100% chemical-free. Even the fruits and vegetables that we eat contain naturally-occurring toxins and chemicals. From the air that we breathe to the water that we consume everyday. we get exposed to all kinds of chemicals. In my opinion to get better results, we all have to do little cherry-picking to get effective results from our skincare regimen choices.
Even after using so many products for many years, I am still confused between clinical or organic skincare products. Here are some of the best brands that will add some clarity.
Clinical skincare brands
PCA SKIN
PCA skin which was founded 30 years ago by an aesthetician and developed by dermatologist. This brand is an innovator of modified and enhanced Jessner’s peel and offers extended treatment options for all skin types and conditions. The peel solution provided by PCA can be customized to address unique concerns.

The goal of Dermalogica is to ensure healthy skin for all. They have customized regimens and services for every individual.
Organic skincare brands
BIOSSANCE
Biossance is a natural skincare beauty brand which was launched 4 years ago. The most interesting thing about this brand is that it has extremely hydrating ingredients. These products contain sustainable, plant-derived squalane. It targets dryness and dullness and can be used on the face, body and hair. The packaging is also done in recyclable boxes.
NOURISH ORGANIC
Nourish Organic is the first personal care product to be certified organic under NOP. It defines as a true organic product integrity in health and beauty industry. This product ensures highest quality of safe, clean ingredients to nourish skin. The company offers different product lines including body lotions, deodorants, body washes and body butters.
The conclusion? There are some who are firmly behind organic skincare products and some strongly believe in clinical. Each product whether clinical or organic has its own pros, and much comes from our own preference. Clinical or organic both have its own speciality which makes it different from one another. There has always been a misconception that clinical skincare products are not meant for delicate or sensitive skins. But the sad reality is that it’s not just clinical but organic as well which can be harmful because of the ingredients it contains. If one is using clinical product, then by all means stick to the same type of a product rather then switching between the types. It Is fine to have the mixture to some level, but utmost care should be taken while choosing the product. All the brands try to make transparent efforts to protect our skin from all kinds of skin issues but ultimately the decision lies in our hands to make a thoughtful purchase, regardless of what the brands advertise.
So, still the question is “What would you choose”?????
