We met with the co-founder of the company KBeauty.

Althea Johnson is a fashion, travel and skincare blogger and now running Proplifestyle, a KBeauty store based in Toronto, Canada.

It all started from a trip to Seoul Korea. She had a friend there who inspired her and helped her turning into an exploration of the Korean skincare traditions, technologies, andadvances from the asian perspective of skincare routines.

She had been searching for solutions to help with her severe cystic acne, eczema and sensitive skin. Research in Seoul led her to delve deeper into the KBeauty skincare industry. She discovered result-oriented techniques and products to help alleviate issues with

her sensitive skin and reduce her eczema and acne breakouts. She started this business to share her experience and growing knowledge with those who have similar skin issues and want to learn more about how Korean skincare can improve their skin’s appearance. Althea believes that a personalised KBeauty skincare routine can lead to glowing, clearer skin that retains elasticity. She started this on 2017 with the online shop and now venturing into getting different products from different companies and put them into her store to provide versatility still based around customized treatment solutions. She is the design visionary behind her brand, its image and her space!
